A new version of HandbrakePM, the batch video conversion tool based on the famous HandBrake video converter, is now available:

v3.2 (10-Sep-2025)

• macOS: Removed the Sanbox-switch. This prevented the use of HandBrakeCLI.
• When an error occurs, the feedback from HandBrakeCLI is now displayed in the message window, instead of the executed command.
• Changed the field for messages in the message window into a scrollable editfield - this is handy for when errors occur.
• When an error is displayed in the message window, the window can now be resized to enlarge the editfield containing the message. You can also copy the message text.

File list has been improved. To remove a file from the list, select it and press a delete key.

File list is cleared from processed files when new files are dragged onto the window.

Fix: files are now read correctly, even with a '/', ç or ü, etc. in the path or file name.

Update: HandBrakeCLI updated. Minimum macOS version is now 10.13.

Update: You can install HandBrakeCLI outside of the app, in /usr/local/bin/. This way you can always use its latest version.

Update: If HandBrake itself is not installed, the app reads the presets from an internal file.

Bug fix: the 'Auto-crop' button also [en|dis]abled the 'Select folder' button.

There's now also a version for Windows 7 or higher!
